Dear Parents,
Further to my previous letters this week, we still only have the one confirmed case of Swine Flu that I reported yesterday. However, we have continuing high levels of absence through illness.
The most common symptoms of children who have been ill this week are: high temperature, headache and tearfulness. However other symptoms reported have included runny nose, sore throat, cough, upset stomach, aching limbs, sickness and diarrhoea.
If your child is ill, it may be seasonal flu, swine flu, norovirus, a cough or cold or something else. Some children appear better, within a short space of time; even well enough to come back to school, but are then ill again.
I have consulted the Health Authority again today, who confirm that if your child is not well you should keep them at home until they are better and certainly don’t return them to school this week. The half term break should give them enough time to get better.
I have been informed that many other schools are experiencing similar problems this week including local High Schools. I hope you have a healthy and recuperative half term and look forward to seeing you back on Monday, 2nd November.
Yours sincerely

We are located on the main road between Worcester and Great Malvern.
Please click here to see a map from MultiMap. Leave the M5 at Junction 7 and on to the A4440. At the large island, follow signs to Malvern, on the A449.
This aerial view with a map overlay will take you in a little closer. Please ignore the red circle!
Finally, this aerial view will show our exact location. Turn right off the main Malvern Road, just south of the red circle, into the cul de sac. Turn left and park at the very end.
