This section is intended to provide you with information about Powick CE Primary School’s Governing Body.
We are made up of 15 representatives of various groups. We
also have two associate members, who offer valuable
specialist skills.
We meet as a complete group four times a year.
Every Governor is part of at least one of our three sub
committees (Resources, Curriculum & Premises) which meet
an additional three times a year.
As parents of children at Powick School, our Parent
Governors have a responsibility to ensure that the interests of
parents as a whole are represented. If you have a concern
relating specifically to your child however, we would urge
you in the first instance to bring it promptly to the attention
of your child’s class teacher or the headteacher.
As well as introducing ourselves, we hope the information on
the following pages will give you a little insight into what we do!
